Mitchell Digby was credited with the secondary assist on the play. Lone Star quickly added another following a Joey Trazzera back check to free the puck. With 1:11 to go Baez sent the puck from the near circle to Daskas in the high slot. Daskas’ blast went off the pad of Stern and stayed in the paint for Digby to poke across the line. Just 13 seconds later Luke Burke grabbed a feed from Trazzera in the slot and rifled it past Stern for an unassisted goal.

Just one minute into the second Stinil used a big burst of speed to blow past Jason Galotti at the Odessa blueline fired it into the twine unassisted.
